On my plates

I love to see my work through the eyes of my customers. Whether it’s a professional stylist or someone showing the set table for a family gathering, I’m always excited to see a plate again and in use.

Since I opened my Etsy shop in 2017 my earthenware has been used by several stylists and makers in their photos.

Are you curious about the photos? Here are a few examples and links to other publications:

Rembrandt - Caravaggio

In June 2022, Alessandra Mignardi, a food photographer and food stylist based in Tilburg NL, made some amazing photos using my tableware.

Isn’t that a match made in heaven?!

You can find more of her beatiful work here and give her a follow on Instagram here.

Collaboration with Celine

Several photos on this website are made by Celine Steen, a cookbook author and photographer/stylist. I was thrilled when she agreed to work with me, she’s very talented and her photos have the ambiance I was looking for. Celine has photographed the pieces with some beautiful vegetarian and vegan dishes.

What a wonderful time we live in that we’re able to work together with people from across the ocean!

Collaboration with Anouk

Anouk Böhmer is a wonderful paper flower artist. We got to know each other through Instagram and we’ve used each others work in our photos.

For her flowers I’ve made some small holders and she responded to their designs with her flowers. The sets that arose will be exclusively available on her website in the fall of 2020.

“This platter is absolutely gorgeous. I love the difference in the shiny parts and the matte parts. It’s elegant yet organic.”

Sharing meals with my friends again felt so special after all those months of quarantaine and I enjoyed it intensely.
I'm not sure if these feelings will be reflected in my work in the future but I hope I will find a way to make some people's gatherings extra special.
